Kerala Cafe Detailed Review

Hi, Watched Kerala Cafe yesterday.

Altogether it is a different approach, new idea, first time in malayalam film field, different story moods, different life styles and totally different. With the 10 different stories I found the cross section of Kerala life.

The movie started wid Padma Kumar's Nostalgia, Nothing important with that may be one of the worst out of 10. Was a bad work by Padma Kumar. Dileep was the Hero and Navya played opposite.

Bold

The next one was Island Express. Shankar Ramakrishnan was the director. Prithviraj and Jayasurya played the leading roles. It lead me to the memories of Perumon Tragedy. Prithviraj was the hero and he was totaly different all respects.

The next one was Shaji Kailas's Lalitham harimayam. A totally different approach to his previous works but the the subject he worked on didn't clicked that much. Was almost like a chocolate setup. Suresh Gopi was the hero and it said the story of a husband who was held between his wife on one side and Lover on the other.

The next one was Uday Ananthan's Mrityunjayam. Fahad Faasil and Rima Kallingal was in the lead. Rima was exceptional. The story goes througn the investigation around an old mana. Just a little bit horror.

The next one was Anjali Menon's Happy Journey, an extra ordinary work by her. was simply superb. It tells us how women adapt themselves to the lifestyles and how the react to that. Jagathy Sreekumar and Nithya Menon were in the lead. Jagathy was superb. But all my marks goes to the director.

Aviramam of B.Unnikrishnan was the next one. Siddique and Shwetha Menon were playing the leading roles. It describes the aftereffects of the recession period. Together with the true romance between a husband and wife. A totally different theme taken by the director.

ShyamaPrasad's Off Season was the next one. Suraj played the leading role. Nothing special in this except some comedy numbers by Suraj. Tells the story of a guide in Kovalam beach.

Anwar Rasheed's Bridge was the next one and was exceptionally good. Salim Kumar and Kalpana were in the lead. Bridge told a story of how a mother becomes a budren family members. Totally different becoz it was from Anwar Rasheed.

Next one was Revathy's Makal. Sona Nair and Sreenath played the leading role. It told something about the scandals hapenning. Selling girls in the name of Adopting was shown through this. It did't clicked much but it contained a very good message.

The last one was Puram Kazhchakal by Lal Jose. Mammotty and Sreenivasan were playing the leading role. It shows a way for the youth who make there life a big celebration to the problems of common people. It contained an excellent message to the youth. This was the second film which got most applause from the crowd.

All together it was a great experience and worth watching 10 films at a time.
